Silent Unity

Silent UnityOne of the resources I use regularly is the Daily Word that is published by Unity http://unity.org  In a recent addition I noticed an app for Silent Unity. If you are not familiar with Silent Unity, it is where members of Unity take all prayer requests and hold the intention of those requests as received for 30 days.

Yesterday I downloaded the App and wrote a prayer request.  Silent Unity is a resource that candidly I should use more often.  This past year has been more difficult than most and I have stepped up my spiritual work that reminds me of aligning my energy with God and not fear. So now I have the App and have resolved to connect frequently with Silent Unity. In fact I sent another prayer request while typing this.

You don’t need an App to invoke the help of prayer with Silent Unity. Visit Silent Unity on line or call them at 1-800-669-7729  This wonderful resource is non-denominational and is free.

After my prayer request yesterday  I received an email because I asked for one. Here is what I received. I highlighted the affirmation it contains.

Dear Steve,

Rest assured that you have been held in our loving prayers from the moment we received your request. Anytime you desire peace of mind, you can take a moment to pray. When you pray, you open your mind and heart to the flow of God’s love within you and allow this love to replace fear with faith and restore your inner strength.

In your quiet moments of prayer, you can be sure that we are praying with you and that we are holding you in loving thoughts of inner strength, peace of mind, and unwavering faith. We invite you to join us in affirming:

“God’s peace is my peace. God’s strength is my strength. I am faith-filled and secure in God’s love.”

We will be one with you in faith-filled prayer for the next thirty days. A visit to our website will help you find other tools for inspiration.

Lovingly,

Silent Unity

PS: Read a message of peace and faith.

I know that God is in all including me.  When I was young I was taught that God is out there, up there. Now I know God is with me and part of me.  When I pray I still remind myself of that and really focus on removing the blocks to God.  The biggest block is fear. Fear is the opposite of love. God is Love – Unconditional Love

Many Blessings
