Two statements I really connected to on Power Tool: Happiness

1. Happiness is your birthright. Remember God is the Source of the feeling.
2. Happiness is not in the person or thing we desire. Happiness is in the origin of the person or thing.

They are two magnificent statements. So much said in so few words. And…they remind me of what Abraham always talks about holding a thought pure for 17 seconds or longer and the power of uncontested pure thought birthed in feeling good and set free to manifest naturally in alignment with the feelings. Great idea to record. Absolutely.

Thanks Steve.
An Unconditional Love Hug to you

I agree with you that Happiness is at the core of why people create. i know that after I have written what I want I feel extremely happy. Sometimes I’m happy in the middle of creating the writing too.:) Writing infuses my life and I don’t think I’m happier than when I am writing.

Creativity also requires you to embrace that happiness so you will know why you are creating. Because once your creation is finished you only have the memory of creating it.:)

I agree Steve, that’s why we can live in real Joy. We are together with the Source and we are One.
I appreciate very much your posts.
God bless

I believe that happiness is a feeling that results from some behavior. You have to DO something that will generate the feeling. Your blog is thought provoking and I enjoy that!

Thank you for the topic of Happiness!
Today I was being helped with my business by SCORE and their perspective and mine are quite different. Which is ok in my world, Thank you SCORE. But it sure seemed that their recommendations are about to suck out my happiness and joy in doing what I do. So your comment on Happiness was a great reminder to sticking with what seems to matter to me. I worked to hard to get to my state of happiness. I have to maintain the joy.

Another good way to remember positive things is to send yourself email with things that you are thankful for, and congratulate yourself when you accomplish goals, cheer yourself on and motivate yourself.

Happiness is our natural state of being. At it’s most primal it is bliss. Buddha taught us that all suffering comes from desire. To achieve happiness is to acknowledge that it is through striving and desire that we become unhappy. Consider for a moment that, at the end of our lives anything which we owned, treasured coveted or desired will be left behind, All then we take with is is the thoughts which comprise the sum of our experiences. Would it not be best to die with belief that all that actually matters is that we love and were loved. God’s love after all is universal and without limit. It is the highest vibration of existence, the ultimate state of being, bliss. What more would we need to be happy except to know that bliss is already waiting for us. All we need do is allow ourselves to remember this one simple truth.

the statement that happiness is a result if what you do is not entirely correct…the truth of is that happiness is “the core of you’re being” as stated. emotions are a result of thought(simply a chemical reaction to the thoughts you choose and allow to be…for eg, when you get that sinking sick feeling in the pit of your stomach it is because all the blood is rushing to your head in order to assist your brain to solve an issue or deal with a situation in a hurry…this is the survival instinct kicking in” ) we, humans, make the mistake of thinking happines is a result of action and go after object etc after object etc to feel that happiness, but then when it doesn’t always some it makes us worse. the key is to let go of the mind, emotion, and the world and feel the space inbetween it all…i suggest reading Osho or Eckhart Tolle, or even wayne dyer… happiness is now, a state of being not an emotional reaction to action… ;)
