Today I received a message from Yanik Silver regarding his recent trip and Mastermind meeting with Richard Branson and a number of other like minded people. That got me thinking about who I “hang out with” a phrase I learned from my daughter. I remind myself all the time to be grateful for learning phrases like “hanging out” from those much wiser like our children. I digress.
I hang out with Neale Donald Walsh and Abraham the most. There are many others who are very influential. I connect with them frequently. There are new friends that appear like Dennis Merritt Jones who travels with me. His book The Art of Being goes with me nearly everywhere now to be completely transparent. Who do you keep company with? Who influences your thinking and how you feel?
You see, how you feel is most important. I recently wrote about this in my article titled: Over Under Around Through
The secret of feeling good is in how you image yourself. This brings me to my good friend Neil. (If you know Neil, please tell him I said hello and I will connect with him again real soon.)

This post reminds me of what my mom used to say which was “people judge you by the company you keep”. Of course I am not fond of the word “judgment” but I understand what she meant. She was telling me that “birds of a feather flock together” another of her faves and that the way people know us is by who we attract and enjoy for conversation and shared life experiences.
If we want to learn from the most interesting people and masters in any arena then we have to “hang out” with them.
I too spend my time with great people and teachers who have made the decision to laser focus their energy on the conscious co creation and the law of attraction and the love thy neighbor as thyself lifestyle. It has become my purpose to hone myself to greater and greater consciousness and be a lighthouse to others who are seeking love, truth and acceptance while incorporating it into all aspects of their lives including the way they do business and create cashflow.
It is definitely easier to “be the change I want to see in the world” when I hang out with miraculous examples of love and light and clarity via great teachers and authors.
