What lies behind us and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us. Ralph Waldo Emerson

Thank you so much for those awesome quotes. I have 5 that I love by Rosie Cash, Unknown, Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer but my absolute fave out of all of these has to be the quote from Mark Twain

“Keep away from people who belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that but the really great ones make you feel that you too, can become great”

Wow…lots of really good ones!

Got a laugh out of Winston Churchill’s “If you’re going throught hell, keep on going”.

Very true what Mark Twain said about great people…they will always make YOU feel great.

and Eleanor Roosevelt’s “the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams”.

Keep them coming!

It all comes down to day by day anyway so my favorite quote is by Robert Louis Stephenson

“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant.”

Finish each day and be done wth it. You have done whatyou could. Some blunders and absurdities have crept in; Forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and wth too high a spirit to be encumbered by your old nonsense. Ralph Waldo Emerson.

@: Hi Steve and Las, I like all the quotes and wish I had them all memorized for random use. However, I agree with the one Las chose by Ralph Waldo Emerson. After several re-reads it is my first choice. It really hits home and states the truth so cleanly and clearly with just a hint of dry humor. I love it!
Thank you.
Love,
Alexandra

Actually I feel the candle becomes brighter when lighting another. I love you and thank you.
